Made with love — for the four-legged members of the family
Here's a very simple recipe for doggie treats that I'm sure your dog will love! Just four wholesome ingredients — flour, tuna, egg, and cheddar cheese — baked low and slow until they're perfectly crunchy and irresistible. Your pup will be sitting pretty and begging for more. Made with love, just like everything else in this kitchen.

The very good boys (and girls) these treats were made for
Preheat & Mix
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients together — flour, tuna (with its water), egg, and shredded cheddar cheese — until well combined.
Spread in Pan
Pour the mixture into an 8" × 8" baking dish. Spread the dough out evenly, just as you would when making brownies.
First Bake
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Lower & Bake Again
Lower the oven temperature to 275°F and bake for another 20 minutes.
Cut into Squares
Remove from the oven. Leaving the treats in the baking dish, use a very sharp knife to cut them into squares — just like brownies. Make them as large or as small as you like.
Final Bake
Return the cut treats to the oven and bake for another 40 minutes, checking on them halfway through. After a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes in the oven, they should be relatively hard to the touch.
Cool & Remove
Take them out and let cool completely. Once cooled, score them again with a sharp knife and remove from the baking dish. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
